I stumbled across an excellent podcast interview thatâs worth your time. Shane Rosenthal interviews author & apologist Lydia McGrew, who is someone you should definitely familiarize yourself with if youâre interested in Christian apologetics and evidence for the reliability of the Gospel accounts.
In the interview, they discuss reasons why we can trust the accounts of Jesusâ resurrection in the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John) despite what seem (at first glance) like irreconcilable differences in the narratives.
Considering that the apostle Paul points to Jesusâ resurrection as the most important piece of evidence for the entire Christian faith (1 Corinthians 15:14-19), this is a topic every believer ought to be well-versed in. Also, I for one thought it was nice to take a break from all the politics on social media to focus on whatâs really “of first importance.”
You can listen to the interview at the link below (itâs only about 30 minutes long, so the equivalent of just one episode of whatever show youâre currently binging on Netflix!):
