When we protect a church building, we are not protecting &#8220;real estate&#8221;; we are protecting a <strong>vessel of grace.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Consider the historic churches of the Midwest. These structures represent generations of tithing, prayer, and community. If a sanctuary is destroyed by a windstorm or fire, the loss is not just financial; it is a disruption of the local witness. A church that ignores the risk of misconduct is a church that ignores the reality of sin.
